Yup, am here to update my latest trip to Adelaide, South Australia.

19.12.2015, Saturday / 20.12.2015, Sunday: Singapore - Adelaide - Cape Jervis

Reached the airport at around 8:30pm (which was kinda early caused the meeting was about 9:00pm or so) because my uncle drove us. Loiter around the around while waiting for the rest of the family before checking in. Was hungry then so I snacked on Burger King's nuggets because heading on the plane ride.

As usual, overnight flight does not go well with me, and I barely caught a wink. Despite that, I was able to look out of the window, glazing on stars (realllll starssssss! Totally feels like I am near to the stars, watching the whole galaxy) and catching the sunrise. Collected our rental car in rainy Adelaide, and headed to one of the markets as requested by the aunts. The Market Shed on Holland St. was a tiny market that did not take us much time to shop around. Nonetheless, it's those kind of market with fresh produce that I really enjoyed, hence, I still had a great time. Bagged some fruits from the market before heading to a mart next door to grab some necessity.

Hopped on to our rental and we move to next destination that we decided on the spot, wine vineyards. Randomly chose Beach Road Wines as the place to dine in for lunch. Had pizza while looking over the yards of vines hahah. Moved on to our destination - Cape Jervis which took an hour plus before reaching our accommodation for the night, Morella Farm. The farm was huge with no animals (except of the wild kangaroos backyard hahaha) and we had the whole place to ourselves. Napped for a while before having home-cooked dinner.

Spent the rest of the night trying to plan our itinerary for the next day while stuffing fresh cherries and sipping red wine that my uncle bought from Beach Road Wines (The wine was surprisingly acceptable for me - not someone that appreciate alcohol - that I managed to sip a few mouth - too much will burn my stomach causing me gastric hahaha lousy me). Had an early night (slept around 10:30pm) because we had to wake up early the next day.  

21.12.2015, Monday: Cape Jervis - Kangaroo Island
Had home-cooked breakfast (Morella Farm is really secluded) before heading a couple of minutes down to catch our ride to Kangaroo Island. Arrived at Penneshaw, Kangaroo Island with our rental, and headed Pelican Lagoon. Was kinda lost while searching for the lagoon so we decided to forego the place and headed straight to Seal Bay instead. Seal Bay is freaking beautiful! The coastal line was absolutely stunning that the near two hours ride was worthwhile hahaha. As it's name suggested, we managed to sight the adorable seals! While some of us took a tour down to the beach (near the seals), the rest of stroll along the boardwalk taking in the magnificent view of the bay. The wind was pretty strong then and I was down on luck because I wore shorts. #Badluckme.

Dine in this Inn (can't remember the name) for lunch. Had fish and chips while the rest of the family had steaks. Shared two plates of seafood platter, and I have to say I love the scallops a lot (*salivates*). Stole a couple mouth of the steaks from my mom and was pleasantly surprised that I am able to tolerate the taste of beef  (in fact like it) as normally I could not stand the milky (?) taste of the beef. In conclusion, I can only take beef in angmoh countries hahahha.

Headed to Kingscote - where we were staying for the night instead of Flinders Chase as all of us were tired after a game of pool between my uncle and my cousin. Kangaroo Island Seaview Motel was our accommodation for the night. We had an awesome view of the sea from the window of my room, but on the downside, we had share the bathroom with other guests. Still, it's a comfortable stay.

Took a short stroll around the motel (the sea view = OMGGOSHIWANNASTAYHEREFOREVER, and the swimming pool near the motel is a freaking nature pool made from stones WITH SEA VIEW - better than MBS' infinity pool in my opinion) before dining at Cafe Bella near the motel in the cold (wind was strong and I was gung ho enough to wear shorts and slippers #somethingmustbewrongwithme). Shared pizzas and beef lasagna for dinner as that was what's left since it was near to closing hours.

Headed back to the motel to rest for the night (and sneaking to see the stars [not as much as I expected, but still satisfied] before turning in).

22.12.2015, Tuesday: Kangaroo Island - Adelaide

Managed to catch the sunrise! Bought potato pie from a local bakery for breakfast as most of the stores are not opened. Ate with the family at the outdoor tables in the garden (of the motel) before packing up. Back to the road and our first stop was this shop that sells bee products. The family when crazy shopping here hahahha. As most places that we wanted to visit were closed/not yet opened, we ended up at American River for a short sightseeing. Spotted some swans and decided to move on as there's nothing much. The rest stopover at The Oyster Farm Shop to get fresh oyster and baked ones (not a fan of oysters so I skipped out for this one).

Headed back to Penneshaw (and managed to chance upon Pelican Lagoon), and ate lunch at Penneshaw Hotel. Had seafood linguine, but much preferred my aunt's king george whiting, but prawns in the linguine was good (and numerous hahah). Decided to splurge on dessert and got myself passion fruit panna cotta (like it). Took a short walk around the area before catching our ride back to Cape Jervis.

Drove all the way back to Adelaide. Stopover at Castle Plaza Shopping Mall, and had dinner at Red Rooster. Not a huge fan of the chicken though. Move on and arrived at our accommodation for the rest of the trip - Mantra on Frome. It was a comfortable stay, with some of the rooms with fully equipped kitchen.

Rest for the night as we had a full schedule for the next day.

23.12.2015, Wednesday: Adelaide

Headed to Adelaide Central Market for breakfast. Had ham, cheese, and tomato omelette with cup of hot chocolate to kick start the day. Did some shopping in the market better heading to Beerenberg Farm for some strawberry picking. Picking fresh strawberries from the stalk and eating them straight away is certainly one of the best experience ever (though doing it it under the sun was not so fun). Not to mention the strawberries are damn sweet. Overloaded ourselves with a snack of strawberries before getting back to the shop to pay for the strawberries and along with other food that we picked up from the store. Special mention to the berries swirl ice-cream from the store as it's awesome! Not too sweet nor sour!

Landed ourselves at Hahndorf, which is just a couple of minutes away from the farm, and I have to crown this place as my one of my favourite for the trip. The town is filled German style (?) buildings that line across the street, and I certainly enjoyed my time shopping and enjoying the view despite the heat.

Lunch was at the restaurant that sell German food (duh). The food was not bad, and I love the mash potato (potatoes and cheeseeeeeeeee! Plus it's mashed! Was so sicked of fried potatoes). Headed back to the Adelaide and found our way to Adelaide Botanic Garden. The sun was scorching so I barely enjoy the garden (it's like Vegas all over again, just lower temperature).

Got back to the hotel with rest while my aunt, uncle and cousin were dropped off near Rundle Mall to do some shopping. Was feeling lazy and not liking the sun, so I decided not to shop and spend my time read manga in my room while my mom and aunts went out to get groceries to cook dinner.

After dinner (home-cooked dumpling looking pasta soup and stir fried gnocchi), I went up to my cousin's room and watched TV hahahha before heading back to my room to rest for the night.

24.12.2015, Thursday: Adelaide

Headed to Marble Hill Cherries to pick cherries after breakfast (home-cooked meal again). Was a little lost and feeling nauseated (me and winding road are never a good match), but we managed to find our way to the orchard. Cue our time picking cherries and eating them under the sun hahahha. Got myself some cherry ice-cream before we head back down to Adelaide Central Market to get groceries.

Lunch was at this Chinese restaurant in Chinatown that sells roasted duck etc. It was satisfying, and the adults (excluding me) went back to the central market to do more grocery shopping, while the rest shopped around Chinatown. Went back to hotel after grocery shopping, and took a short rest before heading out to Rundle Mall with my dad, aunt, uncle and cousin while the rest cooked/stayed in the hotel.

Rundle Mall is a street filled with different stores, and yup, that's where I did proper shopping (hahah) with my dad (the rest split while shopping). Head back to the hotel at about 6:30pm (as most stores are closed/closing) for Christmas eve dinner. Dinner was the best home-cooked meal I had for the trip and the chicken that my aunt roasted beats Red Rooster hands down hahah.

Went back to my room and wash up (caught a bit of Frozen which I swear is on TV every Christmas - saw it in Langkawi last year lol). Did some packing and rest for the night.

25.12.2015, Friday: Adelaide - Singapore

It's CHRISTMAS! Had breakfast at my aunt's room before heading down to the Airport. Security was pretty strict at Adelaide, I have to say. Managed to the Chicken Fries that I am craving for from Hungry Jack before boarding the plane.

Plane ride was okay. Had Christmas special: Turkey for lunch and refreshment was pizza (other choice was fried rice, can you believe it? Fried rice for refreshment omg). Managed to caught three movies - The Man from U.N.C.L.E (I love this one!), No Longer Heroine (Japanese movie. I read the manga [I cannot with Hatori's expression in the manga] before, and this live action had cut down on plot, but I preferred the movie tho as Rita actually love Hatori [as compared to what was shown in the manga]. Not a bad movie.), and Paris Holiday (Chinese/Cantonese movie. Watched it because of Amber Kuo. Kinda like it).

Landed in Singapore and was drove back home with courtesy of my uncle hahah. With that ends my trip to South Australia~

My thoughts:

Can't say that I like Adelaide more than Tasmania. In actual fact, I do prefer Tasmania more than Adelaide. Not saying that I do not enjoy Adelaide (it's a nice place!), but the sun was no fun. It was windy for a couple of days, but the rest of trip was scorching. Summer is not an ideal season to travel to Australia, I have to say.

Nonetheless, I still like this place and I might be back for shopping hahahhahahahahaha!

Hey Giant,

Was a little lazy to do anything special (graphic wise) this year (but the above is still made by yours truly), but that doesn't mean I love you any lesser. Can you believe that this is the 7th birthday post I have written for you? Hahah. In these seven years, you have become part of my life, someone that I hold on dear to, and that, is something that I am thankful for.

We have come a long way, and I know we have many more years to go. I love you and I will always be at your side.

Happy 24th/25th birthday, dumboh yuboh.

Busan: 31 Oct 15 to 3 Nov 15

Midnight flight was no fun hahahahha. Was trying hard to stay awake by watching movies, but was attacked by headache. No comfortable position to sleep equated to a sad me with headache. Good thing was that I managed to catch a wink after our stopover in Hong Kong to Seoul. Basically the whole day was spent on travelling because we were heading straight to Busan so another flight from Gimpo to Busan then. Was supposed to travel to our airbnb via public transport but we were too tired; hence, we hopped on to a taxi and relax all the way lolol. Was a little lost, but nonetheless, we managed to reach our location safely.

Our airbnb was a tiny loft. Not a bad stay with the location (Haeundae), but the second floor's ceiling was too low for average height people (a.k.a baka and me) that we have to bend when ever we get up to our beds hahah.

Anyways, we dumped our stuff and went out for dinner. Intended to eat at this chinese restaurant near our airbnb, but we ended up in a korean one instead hahahah. Dinner was not bad. Head back to our airbnb and rest for the day.

Spent our next morning in Haeundae, visiting the Haeundae Beach and Busan Aquarium. Moved on to shop at the different shopping areas and had dinner before getting down to Gwangalli Beach for fireworks. We were the only ones playing tho hahhaha. Took a break in Starbucks near the beach before heading back to airbnb.

The bakas went out for sunrise the next while the rest (me included) laze in our airbnb hahhaa. Ate breakfast before heading out. Walked around Jagalchi market before having chicken for lunch. Trick Eye Museum Busan was next. It's pretty fun to take photos there hahaha. Had a simple dinner before heading to CGV for movie! Caught The Intern and omg the movie was indeed awesomeeeeeeeeeeee. Anne Hathaway all the way lololol.

Our last day in Busan was spent on last minute packing and travelling to Busan Station to catch the bullet train to Seoul. Met a totally sweet elderly couple who went lengths to help us get to the station. (Nice people of Busan. Huuuulllll I wanna cry thinking of them.) Had the famous Samjin eomuk at the station and we were on our way to Seoul!

Lugging our luggages, we made our to our home for the rest of the days in Korea, Ann Guesthouse. Yup, we were back to Ann's the previous guesthouse we stayed in 2013. We got a loft this time around and I had a big queen size bed to myself for the rest of the days lol. The ceiling for Ann's was higher but we still have to bend a little hahahha.

Seoul: 3 Nov 15 to 11 Nov 15

 After placing our stuff, we headed out for dinner around Hongdae before getting back to Ann's. Spent the rest of the days in Seoul in blur, but there were notable events like we went down to Olympic park to catch a peek of the Melon Awards, Grevin Wax Museum ( a place where we wanted to skip, but fortunately did not because it was so interactive and awesomeeeeeee), our mini snack picnic in the wind in Hangang hahahah, and singing in a norebang! Oh, I fall in love mangosix and lotte mart is our new food shopping heaven. Oh gosh hahahahha.

Hong Kong: 11 Nov 15 to 14 Nov 15

Headed to Hong Kong in the afternoon of Perpero Day hahah. Made our way to our hotel, Eaton Hotel, yet another hotel we stayed before in my previous Hong Kong. Great location and comfy beds hahahha. Had dinner in a local store before heading for some shopping and more walking hahahah. Spent the second day in Hong Kong in Disneyland! Honestly speaking I was not expecting I will enjoy the theme park, but I did! I actually took some rides (not a fan of theme parks) and enjoy the parade and shows a lot (especially the fireworks at the end of the day!). Last day in Hong Kong was spent shopping before we head to the airport (where the taxi uncle literally flew to the airport in 15 minutes when the journey should be around 30 minutes LOLOLOL).

This pretty sums up my 2 weeks trip~ I truly had an awesome time, albeit tiring.

Dear Chanyeol,

I have never been expressive in writing, but I just want to get this down and hope it will find you well.
I have once dreamt of you, in EXO concert setting. We chatted for some reason that I have no idea why (who chats with fans one to one in concert, I mean). 

During our chat, you mentioned, "You know Kris is not coming back right?" in this sad tone that it broke my heart. I have to take a moment before I replied, "Are you okay?" Your smile when trying to assure me that you are fine was so forceful. In reply to this, I have said, "You know when people say they are fine, most of it are not true at all?" 

You guys had been through a rough patch last year. I have no idea how much it hurts to go through this painful period. I can't even imagine it. 

But do remember that you have your family, your friends and your fans, us EXO-L who will stand beside you and support you. Perhaps then, your "I am fine" will be truly from the bottom of your heart.
